Word from the Headmaster

Welcome, allow me to introduce you to Rand Tutorial College, with the motto – “Investing in Their Future!”- and where with Respect, Opportunities, Manners, a Positive Attitude, Discipline and Academic Achievements, our learners are encouraged, to reach their full potential following these guidelines.

Our school is located on the outskirts of Johannesburg City Centre in Observatory, making this school the perfect choice. It is close enough to the city for the working parents to safely drop off their children in the mornings and then to proceed to their places of work close by. It is a One Stop and Drop School. Likewise, parents are able to collect their children as late as 17:00 and the school always endeavours to provide a safe environment on the campus right up to the point of collection.

The school management team consist of myself as Headmaster, Mr R van Dyk the 1st Deputy of the school. We lead a team of dedicated and professional educators and administrators, who have the best interests of our learners at heart.

The school has operated successfully for more than 53 years and is highly rated by the Gauteng Department of Education. The school’s Matric classes regularly achieve a 100% pass rate and the majority of our graduates proceed to tertiary study.

While emphasis is placed on the pursuit of academic excellence through enjoyment and effort, special effort is made to provide opportunities for participation in both sporting and culture activities in order to fully develop the skills required for the world beyond school life.

The school has a strong religious base yet we respect all religions and cultures.

You and your child are invited to become part of the success story and family, which is Rand Tutorial College.

We are looking forward to you joining us, in our and your child’s journey.

Yours in Education,

Mr G.P Dippenaar
